Beginners Yoga

At One Big Heart we recognise and honour that yoga is yet to gain a big following out here in the Western Suburbs of Sydney and to support that fact, all of our classes are created with beginners in mind.

The question is are you looking for something strong or something gentle?

If you’re a first timer and are looking for something gentle and relaxing, head over to our schedule tab and look for YIn Yoga. This form of yoga doesn’t have any kind of level, it doesn’t contain any strength building poses, the sequence is taken from a seated or lying position with the intent of stretching out your body.

Many people are looking for strength and to accommodate this aspect of yoga you will find Hot yoga and Gentle flow classes on our timetable. In these classes you will build heat and sweat whilst learning how to integrate breath with movement as you flow between strong standing yoga poses.
